Milbi School is a small primary school set in a rural setting 20 km north of Shepparton in the Goulburn Valley of Victoria. The school caters for children from Prep through to Grade 6. The teaching methods and curriculum are inspired by the teaching methods of Rudolf Steiner. Steiner (or Waldorf) Education grew from the ideas of Rudolf Steiner (1861-1925).

An Austrian philosopher, Steiner was a very practical man who was able to combine deep philosophical insights with commonsense know how. It is because of this ability that Steiner's contribution to education has been so useful, and is still relevant today.
